On the Lot
On the Lot was a reality show competition produced by Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett. The show, which aired on FOX, featured filmmakers competing in weekly elimination competitions, with the ultimate prize of a million dollar development deal at DreamWorks. On the Lot premiered May 22, 2007.
The series however only survived for one season as it was not a ratings success. Fox has currently closed the On the Lot web site; all that remains is a congratulations page for the winner and a redirect to the FOX homepage.
Zach Lipovsky was the only Canadian representation on the series. He got cast based upon his Crazy 8s film, "Crazy Late" (2005).
