Diesel Film Racing

"Film Racing is dedicated to inspiring and challenging creative minds. We strive to develop exciting and intriguing competitions that will allow filmmakers to explore their artistic drive. And ultimately create unique, inventive films for all to see."

The 2008 Diesel Film Racing Tour came to Vancouver on Friday, June 20th, 2008. Filmmakers were challenged to create an original short film in just 24 hours, from 10PM on Friday, June 20th to 10PM on Saturday, June 21st, 2008 based on the following assignment:

Action - Turning on a Faucet

28 teams came out to compete. All films were screened on June 25, 2008 at the Ridge Theatre in Vancouver. The Top 10 films were screened, and the category winners announced, at a Celluloid Social Club event.
